For baseball and softball programs

Find out where your roster stands. Then train it.

A mental performance program built on data. Every player is assessed first, so the work we do together is aimed at what your team needs.

About 12 minutes per player, on any phone. Written reports for every player and for your staff. Built to be seen as well as heard, so it works for every athlete in the room.

Why most mental game work fades

A talk fires them up for a day

You have seen it. The room is locked in on Saturday, and by Tuesday nothing has changed, because nobody found out what each player needed.

A motivational talk
  • The same message for every player
  • No record of what was covered
  • Ends when the speaker leaves
A program with a plan
  • Every player assessed first
  • A written report for each player and one for the staff
  • Tools your coaches keep using at practice

How it works

Three steps

1. Players take the assessmentThe Diamond Standard: 33 game situations and 5 short written reflections. It scores six areas: Mindset, Awareness, Structure, Team Player, Execution and Recalibrate.
2. We go to workSessions with the team and a session with the staff, built around what the assessment showed for your roster.
3. You keep the planEvery player leaves with a written report. Your staff leaves with the team view and a short plan for using it at practice.

Questions coaches ask

Straight answers

Will my players buy into this?

Most of what they have seen is posters and slogans. This starts with their own results from game situations, and it comes from someone who has played the game professionally. Players engage when it is about them.

We do not have room in the schedule.

The assessment happens on their phones, and a weekend is one weekend. Most programs book the offseason or the preseason.

Does one visit stick?

A talk does not. That is why the work starts with data and ends with written reports your staff keeps. The Season Program adds a midseason retest so you can see what moved.

It is not in this year's budget.

That is common. Some programs fund it through boosters. Others hold a date now for the next budget year, and I send the office whatever paperwork it needs.

Can one of my players take the assessment on their own?

Yes. The individual assessment is $49. Get it here.
